We are downsizing in preparation for a move and this vintage Meister Brau lighted Sunburst clock needs to find a new home. While the expected and outward facing Meister Brau logo is hidden from sight, the original label is on the backside of the clock.
This clock and light work as it should, and it has been cleaned so, it’s ready to hang on your wall. The clock is electric has a 5-foot cord, the knob for setting the time is intact and works as it should. The light turns on and off from a pull chain.
The clock has a charming mid-century groovy spin, as two dials turn and entrance you as time passes. The piece is brown, creamy, gold, yellow, and orange.
At one point in its life it hung and had a backside that had a lighted Meister Brau beer mug image inside the clear dome. My guess is that my father acquired the clock when the other side became separated. Along this clock’s journey it received a facelift and the Meister Brau logo was replaced with a hand painted gold flower. As well, the sides were decorated with hand painted gold leaves. I have my own ideas about how the facelift happened, but my mother is not admitting to having any part in my late father’s beloved sunburst shop clock.
The clock is approximately:
20 inches wide
17.5 inches tall
3.5 inches deep
Condition shown in photos. You should expect that this has been exposed to cigarette smoke at some point, though not in the last fifty five ‘ish’ years, as we are a non-smoking household. Additional photos and video of it working upon request.
