1974 Twin Reverb, it was toured heavily from 1974 to the mid 90's and then retired to a barn in Haiku. I have decided to refresh it and get it ready for another player to use for tour or jam with. It has all the original 1974 transformers: Power 30th week 1974, Choke 29th week 1974, Output 39th week of 1974, Reverb 2nd week 1973. It has all the original purple coupling capacitors. It has 1978 CTS speakers that have new voice coils and cones, NOS Fender branded preamp tubes, new JJ 6L6GC power tubes installed and biased, new Sprague Atom power supply capacitors, new Sprague cathode bypass capacitors, new Sprague bias capacitors, new foot switch for reverb and vibrato. There is an added bias adjust to the bias balance circuit so you can adjust the bias level and balance it across the output transformer, best of both worlds now. The reverb circuit is matched to AB763 specs for a rich classic reverb tone. The amp sounds fantastic, rich reverb with vibrato. This is a great amp, loud and strong, clean and punchy. Great for pedal steal players or keyboards when clean and awesome as a clean powerful platform to run pedals through if you have your favorite stomp boxes. The amp is ready for a tour or band with local gigs, reliable and solid instrument.
